Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX78 Full HD Digital Camera
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX78 offers a resolution of 12.1 effective megapixel CCD image sensor type 1/2.33-inch. With image-stabilized, Leica DC Vario-Summarit branded 5x optical zoom lens, the Panasonic FX78 offers a zoom range from 24mm-equivalent angle generous width-120mm-equivalent to a moderate telephoto, when shooting still images. Full HD movies captured at 60 interlaced fields per second from 30 frames per second sensor data, while the 720p movie can be captured either in 60 or 30 progressive scan frames per second from 30 frames per second the sensor data, and at a lower resolution, all Movies are recorded at 30 frames per second. All the films included mono sound. A Video Split function allows to separate in-camera film, allowing users to trim remove unwanted parts to preserve only part of the movie they want.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX78 store pictures and movies on Secure Digital cards including the newer SDHC or type SDXC. There also are not so generous 18MB of built-in memory. Connectivity options include USB 2.0 High-Speed, plus a mini-HDMI high definition and standard definition NTSC video output.
Power comes from a proprietary lithium-ion battery, which includes Panasonic Security ID function to prevent the use of counterfeit battery packs or a third party. The battery is considered as good for 260 shots on a single charge with CIPA testing standards. This software bundle contains PHOTOfunSTUDIO HD v6.1 Lite Edition, and a trial version of Super LoiLoScope video editing package.
